2-Hour Wheel-Throwing Session

What to expect

This 2-hour taster session is the perfect way to experience wheel throwing for the first time. In a relaxed setting, you’ll learn the basics of working on the wheel - from centring the clay to shaping your first pieces. The class takes place in my calm studio in Inkpen/Hungerford and includes all materials, firing and a clear glaze for your finished pieces. You normally finish between 2 and 4 pieces in this time. Whether you’re curious to try pottery or looking for a mindful creative break, this session is designed to feel calm, supportive and inspiring. No experience needed - just curiosity and a willingness to get a little muddy! I have 2 pottery wheels in my studio so you are more than welcome to bring a friend. If not just be aware that someone else might book the second spot. Please note this course is only available for ages 14+.
