2-Hour Wheel-Throwing Taster Session

What to expect

This 2-hour private taster session is the perfect way to experience wheel throwing for the first time. In a relaxed, one-to-one setting, you’ll learn the basics of working on the wheel - from centring the clay to shaping your first piece. The class takes place in my calm garden studio in Froxfield/Wiltshire and includes all materials, firing and a clear glaze for your finished pieces. You normally finish 2-4 pieces in this time. Whether you’re curious to try pottery or looking for a mindful creative break, this session is designed to feel calm, supportive and inspiring. No experience needed - just curiosity and a willingness to get a little muddy!
